SMC, ICT, BBMA, CRT, MSNR, Price Action — these are vocabularies for describing what a chart has already done. Learning them does not make anyone profitable. I know that because I spent years believing it would.
Recognising a higher high does not tell you where to enter, how much to risk, where to be wrong, or what to do when the read fails. That gap — between naming a pattern and having a tested process — is where almost every trader gets stuck. It is the only thing I teach.
A method is not a method until it has been applied across enough data to know how it behaves — where it works, where it breaks, what its worst stretch looks like. Backtesting, forward testing and refining the rules against real market conditions is the actual work. Most people skip it and wonder why nothing holds up live.
It comes from hours in front of charts, studying what price does in a given scenario often enough that you stop guessing and start recognising. There is no shortcut and no course that installs it.
I work with tick data, order flow and quantitative research, and I follow fundamentals alongside market structure, because a model built on one market regime quietly stops working in the next one.
I started the way most people do: collecting concepts, believing the next one would be the one that finally worked. Learn SMC, spot an order block, take the entry, expect it to pay. It does not work like that, and four years of losses, blown accounts and unlearning taught me that the hard way.
What changed was not finding a better concept. It was stopping the search and starting to build a process I could actually repeat — tested rules, defined risk, and the discipline to apply them on the days the market makes you look stupid.
What I teach now is only what survived that period. It is a much smaller set of ideas than most material on this subject would have you believe.
Every read I publish stays up — confirmed or invalidated, with the reasoning attached. Nothing is deleted after the fact.
This is not a marketing line. It is the only honest way to teach a skill where being wrong is part of the job. If someone only shows you the reads that worked, you are not learning analysis — you are watching a highlight reel.
